Badger Stynylrez primer use & application
The Airbrush can be gravity, side, or suction feed with a set up size that should be .5 or bigger. The air pressure is dependent on the type and set up size of the airbrush you are using, including the conditions you are painting in, as a GUIDE ONLY if your painting in a room that as a temperature of around 16 – 26 C and your paints are of the same temperature, with a gravity feed airbrush with a .5 or bigger set up you should have air pressure of around 15-20 psi at the airbrush, if you have a side or suction feed airbrush then your air pressure will need to be slightly higher.
ALWAYS STIR BOTTLES WELL also shaking during use,
Thinning is not necessary in most cases, if you do require thinning for whatever reason, water can be used, but only with a few small drops, the best way to thin Stynylrez primer is with Badger Spray-Thru, this will hold the primer together much better than water.
Application with good ventilation, light thin coats and build up slowly, this is a water-based product, don’t try for full coverage in the first coat as it will run, drying time 3-8 minutes subject to air temperature, fully cured in 24 hours.
Cleaning, clean the airbrush as soon as you have completed your priming, firstly clean the cup out with water then spray clean water, until the water coming out of the airbrush is clean and finish of spraying with Badger Spray-Thru airbrush cleaner.
Problems will accrue if the primer is subject to freezing temperatures, its water-based, if there are sudden changes in its temperature will not help the product, do not mix Stynylrez primer with other products, make sure your airbrush does not contain other product prior to using Stynylrez primer.
